Terry Lynn Dickens, age 56, of Nashville, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Saturday, September 19th, in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with David Dickens officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Thursday, 12-8pm Friday, and again from 8am-1pm Saturday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Dickens was born December 12, 1969, in Springfield, to Gene and Dorothy Dickens. Terry was a loving father, son and brother who loved his family dearly. He worked in retail customer service most of his life.
Mr. Dickens was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Anthony Breeden and Devin Selke.
He is survived by his daughters, Tamara Dickens and Robin (Michael) Breeden; 5 grandchildren, John Selke, Brooklyn Selke, Eli Selke, Malachi Breeden and Michael Breeden, Jr.; his parents, Gene and Dorothy Dickens; brothers, Kerry (Debra) Dickens and David Dickens; sisters, Tina Calvo and Tammy (Chris) Harmon; and his best friend, James Reis.
