Terry L. Duncan, age 76, Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday June 11, 2023 at his home. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Marksman, Sharpshooter and Good Conduct Medal. Retired from Birmingham Stove and Range, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday June 15, 2023 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service Friday June 16, 2023 at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Tim Meherg, Richie Emerson and Dray Williams officiating. Burial to follow in King School House Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Duncan; sons, John J. Duncan (Alicia) and Miles C. Duncan (Sherelia); sisters, Myra Bray, Melody Gilliland and Calvileen Duncan; brothers, Cleo McClung, Royce Duncan, Richard Duncan, Lee Bob Duncan and George Jones; grandchildren, Myla Duncan, Jace Duncan, Lola Duncan, Zeke Duncan, Claire Duncan and Emery Duncan; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by, father, John Calvin Duncan (Bessy); mother, Clara Lucille McClung (Clarence); brothers, Benny McClung, Millard McClung, Timmy Duncan, Mark Duncan, Johnny Duncan and Mike Jones; sister, Linda Joy Baker.
