Terry Garner, 64, of Anderson, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a reserve Police Officer with the Lexington Police Department. He was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. Terry also loved riding his Gold Wing Motorcycle, fishing and carpentry.
Visitation for Mr. Garner will be Saturday, October 5th from 11 – 1 at Lexington United Methodist Church with funeral service following, at 1. Michael Burgess and Dino Atkins will be officiating. Burial will be held in Harmon Cemetery.
Terry is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy Pack. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Garner; daughter, Terri Lynn; parents, Elvis (Carol) Garner, and Carolyn Stewart; siblings, Joey (Ade) Garner, Tammy Garner, Michael Garner, Nick Garner; step-children, Joseph (Simone) Haywood, Jeremy Haywood; aunt, Hildred (Johnny) Stinson; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
