Terry Eugene Martin,86, of Dora, passed away December 22, 2024.Funeral services will be held December 22, 2024, at 2:00pm from New Horizon Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery.
Mr. Martin is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Alma Martin, wife Denise Martin, a sister Claudette Spain, brother Doug Martin and special puppy dog Teddy.
He is survived by a son Mitchell Martin, daughters Shonya (Tim) Odom, Shae (Kevin) Jones, T.J. (Paul Roberts) Martin, brothers Robert (Shelby) Martin, William “Buddy” (Brenda) Martin, Jerry (Carol) Martin, grandchildren Chase (Brittany) Sims, Michael (Chelsea) Odem, Colby Rhodes, Camille Lucas, Drew Jefferson, J. T. Roberts, Auburn Roberts, Addison Roberts, Amerson Roberts and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Martin loved Auburn football, all of his girls, and NASCAR. He attended the two races a year in Talladega as long as he was able. He was talented mechanic and could fix anything.
He enjoyed dancing and listening to music, especially country music. He would spontaneously start to sing a song he made up.
The family would like to thank his caregivers, who became like family, Gerica, Alisha, Jennifer, Katie, Carol and Velencia.
