Terry Dale Key

Terry Dale Key, age 78 of the Jones Chapel Community, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born September 8, 1946 to Talmage and Ethel Key. Terry was loved by many, not just his family but his friends too. He lived for wheeling and dealing, turning a wrench on old vintage cars, and sitting and talking with his friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor; he could keep you laughing for hours. Terry was a very talented artist, and the best guitar picker in this part of the country. Those melodies will live in the memories of those who loved to hear him play forever. He will always be with us. Visitation will be Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Brock Cemetery near Brilliant. Terry is survived by his daughter, Del Roberts and her husband Keith; sons, Bo Key and his wife Angela and Dusty Key; stepchildren, Wayne Winkles and his wife Angie, Sherry Willingham and her husband Laramie, and Michael Winkles; grandchildren, Josh Garner, Bailey Mereck, Levi (Reagan)Tyree, Laken Tyree, and JohnDavid Key; step grandchildren, Garrett Cutcher, Sadie (Hunter) Jordan, Summer Winkles, and Saylor Winkles; four great grandchildren, Kaison Delaware, River Delaware, Lucy Jordan, and Adrian Purdy; three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents Talmage and Ethelene “Ethel” Key; brothers, Ronald Key, Kirby Key, and Danny Key; daughters, Delane Garner and Detrina Key; and infant sister, LaBarbara Key. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
