Mr. Terry Benefield, age 69, of Weaver, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Terry was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Willie & Janette, siblings Judy, Betty, Brenda, & David, and many beloved family members who went before him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Rita Benefield; his children, Terry (Amanda) Benefield, Jeff (Kim) Benefield, and Christi (Marcus) McGatha; his sister, Nancy; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Terry Benefield, Jeff Benefield, Dustin Benefield, Dylan Benefield, Chase McGatha, and Callum McGatha.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 2:00 PM at Smiths Chapel Methodist Cemetery in Boaz, Alabama. Flowers may be sent to Cremation Services of East Alabama.
