Terro James "Jim" Jenkins, Jr. Terro James “Jim” Jenkins, Jr., 85, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terro and Malinda Jenkins, and wife, Shirley Ann Jenkins. Survivors include his son, Terro James Jenkins III and wife, Silvana.

Mr. Jenkins came to Huntsville from Pennsylvania with the military. He was employed for 25 years with Boeing and NASA where he retired in the 1990s. Areas he was involved with include Corporal Guided Missile, Jupiter Crew Training, S-1C GSE, Pave Tiger, Seek Spinner, U.S. Roland (SAM), Avenger (SAM) and the Space Station. Jim enjoyed fishing and collecting space artifacts.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, December 7 at Laughlin Service Home with the funeral service following in the chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
