Terri Grant Post, age 57 of Arab, died Sunday – March 27, 2016 at her residence.
Terri was born on January 27, 1959 in Birmingham Alabama to Billy Gerald Grant Sr. and JoAnn McGregor Grant. She worked in the public school systems as a Juvenile Advocate. Terri had lived in the Arab area for 12 years moving here from Kissimmee and Jacksonville Florida. She graduated from The University of West Florida and was a lifetime advocate of the Adolescent and Women’s rights. She was an administrator at the Henry and Rilla White Foundation and former teacher of the emotionally challenged at Osceola Middle School.
Terri was a member of the Independent Spiritualist Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Michelle Huguley (Kevin McDougal); brother: Billy G. Grant Jr. (Jerry); sister: Sherri Richey; niece: Jennifer Morris; nephews: Brett Baker and Corey Richey; seven grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy G Grant Sr. & JoAnn Grant.
The family elected cremation. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in memory of Terri Post to the American Lung Association.
