Terrell Lane PittsTerrell Lane Pitts of Pulaski, TN passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, February 1st, 2024, at his home. He was born in Lester, AL on April 4th, 1940 and was 83 years old.
Terrell was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that loved the outdoors., farming, gardening, preaching, and of course his manicured lawn. He grew up on a farm in Minor Hill, TN where he spent his younger days picking cotton and plowing fields. Later in life, he migrated to Pulaski, TN and worked for the shoe factory then went on to Maremont Gabriel. During this time, he began his preaching career of 51 years. He made a large impact throughout Giles County. Terrell retired with Gabriel after 30 years of service. He was a member of New Providence Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held Tuesday February 6th, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.

Terrell was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Burlison Pitts, Father, Jesse Pitts, Mother, Katie Vining Pitts, Brother, James Edward Pitts, and Sisters, Carlene Pitts Mays, Frances Augusta “Gus” Pitts, and Gladys Pitts McGill.
He is survived by,
His Daughter, Misty (Josh) Archer of Pulaski, TN
Grandchildren, Dru Pitts of Cookeville, TN
William Archer of Pulaski, TN
Bryson Archer of Madison, AL
Along with several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Compassus Hospice for all of the love and care.
