Teresa Sue Corbin – Obituary

Teresa Sue Corbin, of Miramar Beach, Florida, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017. She was born on May 15, 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Edgar Charles and Marjorie Sue Cross Alexander.

Teresa worked as the vice- president of sales and marketing at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Sandestin, Florida. In her spare time she loved to golf, go deep sea fishing, entertaining, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She also devoted her time to organizations that were important to her such as, “Legal Secretaries of Alabama” and to the “Old English Sheep Dog Club”.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Corbin; brother, Charles Alexander; sisters, Abigail Wright and Mona Lisa Alexander.

Teresa is survived by her sisters, Margie Alexander Moore, of Moulton, Alabama, Angela Alexander (Gwen) Shelton, of Miramar Beach, Florida, Amy Alexander (Royal) Terry, of Addison, Alabama; sister-in-law, Vicki (Chip) Grafe, of Lake Arthur, Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 at Destin Memorial Cemetery, Destin, Florida. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Sandestin, Florida for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, 340 Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida 32548.

Arrangements are entrusted to Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory.
