Teresa Marie McKinnie, age 93 passed away Friday morning at the home of her niece Betty Quarles.
She was born November 11, 1926 in Toone, TN daughter of the late William A. and Lula Roby Mayfield. She grew up in the Toone area and attended school in Silerton. Later she was a graduate of Southland Bible Institute. She lived in Memphis for about 20 years and returned to Hardeman County in1969. She worked as an office clerk for several years for David Morrison Feed Company.
She married Hulon McKinnie in 1971 and he died on July 3, 1975. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Middleton.
Mrs. McKinnie is survived by five nieces and three nephews and numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Herman Oliver and Virgil Oliver and W.A. Mayfield; and three sisters Martha Roberts, Thelma Cryer and Mamie Mayfield.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 10th at Wesley Cemetery in Silerton with Blake White officiating.
