Teresa Lynn Wilson, 57, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Teresa was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a cosmetologist for forty years. She will be dearly missed by her large family, extended family, friends, and students. Her husband and children were the light of her life. She fought the good fight and has now gone to rest and be with the Lord. Her strong faith and her family gave her the courage to battle Scleroderma and associated illnesses for several years.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Rogers Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Mann officiating.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Lanier; step-father, Dale Lanier; and brothers, Lonnie Robinson and Matthew Kelley.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Walter Glenn Wilson; father, James Robinson; daughters, Amber Lawler (Matt) of Killen, Richa’ Wilson (Robert Appling) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Lindsey Wilson (Kala Barrow) of Florence; brothers, Donnie Mitchell of Nashville, Tennessee, and Ronnie Corkins of Florence; and sister, McKala Robinson of Florence.
