Funeral service for Teresa Holmes Higdon, 52, will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Coomer and Rev. Bobby Carter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Higdon died on Saturday, February 9, 2013. She was born September 17, 1960, in Cullman County to Leslie Eugene Holmes and Lizzie Averine (Childers) Holmes . Mrs Higdon grew up in Eva, but was a resident of Decatur. She was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Charles Holmes.
In lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to any Breast Cancer Organization.
Survivors include: her Husband, Michael Higdon
One Daughter: Megan Hudson
One Brother: Joel Holmes, (Melvie)
One Sister: Jean Grimes, (Tommy)
