Teresa Gail Spillman, 59, of Fort Payne, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was born February 5, 1966 to the late C.D. and Lunell Eason Spillman. She was a hard worker. Teresa had a loving, giving spirit – she loved people and was a caregiver to many. She always had ice cream and popsicles for any child that visited. Teresa was the very best Mom and Nanny.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Hensley and Bro. Samuel Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in Adamsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter Keisha Silver; grandchildren Brantley, Landon, and Ella Silver; siblings Randy Spillman (Anita), Brenda Twilley (Bruce), Sheila Brown (David), Gina Farmer, Robbie Spillman (Bettina), Darren Spillman, Jamie Spillman (Cindy), and Stacy Walker (Red); and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents C.D. and Lunell Spillman, children Justin Wayne Saferite, Ashley Nicole Saferite and Baby Saferite, and brother-in-law Dewayne Farmer.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
