In following her wishes, Teresa will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time. Her family appreciates thoughts and prayers during such a difficult time.

Born on July 3, 1965, in Holly Springs, Mississippi, Teresa was the daughter of the late Robert Stanton and Georgia Elaine Stanton. She lived a life that found joy in the simple things and treasured the people she loved most.

Teresa enjoyed taking afternoon naps, shopping online, and admiring beautiful flowers. One of her greatest companions was her beloved dog, Stella, who brought her much happiness and comfort. She appreciated life’s quiet moments and will be remembered for her gentle heart, caring nature, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory three sisters, Robbie Hall and husband, Tom, of New Albany, Mississippi; Brenda Brown of Hickory Flat, Mississippi; and Holley Russell and husband, Shay, of Fulton, Mississippi; two brothers, Bobby Stanton of Hickory Flat, Mississippi, and David Stanton of Potts Camp, Mississippi; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Scott Moorman; her sister, Gloria Grisham; and her brother, Scottie Lee Stanton.

Although our hearts are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in the many precious memories she leaves behind. Teresa’s gentle spirit, kind smile, and the love she shared with those around her will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know and love her.
