Teresa Ann Cooley, 61 of Union Grove passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at her residence. She was born September 10, 1964 in Arab the daughter of John David Cooley and Betty Benefield. She worked at Arab Foodland up until her health started declining and was a member of the Arab First United Methodist Church. She cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandsons, whose laughter always brought her joy.
She is survived by her daughters: Heidi (Nita) Bennett and Ashley (Dennis) Malone; grandsons: D.J. and Elijah; sister: Angela (Clark) Edwards; brothers: Rodney Lynn (Cathy) Cooley and David Cooley. She was preceded in death by her parents: Betty and Rufus Green, John and Darlene Cooley.
The family has chosen to honor her wishes with cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Cooley family with cremation arrangements.
