Teresa Ann Cockrell, 54, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1962, to Paul Wayne and Minnie Lee Cates Walton. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Castor Buse and Bro. Ron Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Eric Crawley (Angela) of Fulton; her daughter, Julie Thompson (Tracey) of Tupelo; her father, Paul Wayne Walton of Mantachie; three grandchildren, Eric Chase Crawley, Ethan Thompson, and Kloey Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Cockrell; her mother, Minnie Walton; and her brother, Terry “Bubby” Walton.
Pallbearers will be Tracey Thompson, Ethan Thompson, David Crawley, Larry Crawley, Bradley Thomas, and Donnie Cates. David Cates will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
