Teresa A. Quick age 58, of Estill Springs passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton. Teresa was born on March 29, 1963 in Winchester, Tennessee to the late Charles Edward and Hazel (Ashley) Matthews. She was a CNA in healthcare for many years and in her spare time you could find her shopping or reading a good book. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Matthews and niece, Christel Metcalf. Teresa is survived by her sister, Etta Faye Klutts of Estill Springs; brother, Charles Matthews of Bridgeport, AL and James Matthews of Missouri; nieces, Melodi Speakman, Autumn (Michael) Shacklee, Aarron Sweeton and Shasta Speakman; nephew, Issac Sweeton; special friend, Vernon Sanson and three beloved dogs, Tilly, Peanut and Gracie. A special thanks to Avalon Hospice Dr. DeAnna Britton; and special nurses, Samantha and Shelia. Visitation will be Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11:00am from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Metcalf officiating.
