Funeral for Tennis Rena Oliver “Big Buddy” 86, will be Friday, May 21, 2021, at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Crumpton officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek. Visitation will be Thursday, May 20 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Oliver, who died Monday May 17, 2021, at Helen Keller Hospital, was born, September 17, 1934, to Tennis Oliver and Neomie Oliver. He enjoyed being outside on the gazebo and tinkering with wood and old knick-knacks. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife-Carolyn Oliver, Stepson-Dale Merrell, brothers-Dan Oliver, Mickey Oliver, Ollie Oliver, sister-Sara Schneider.

Sisters-Shelby Parker, Stella (Buddy)Allen, Barbara Vandiver all of Town Creek and Elizabeth Greene of Lexington
6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren
Pallbearers will be the nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Agee Merrell, Nathan Merrell, Scott Parrish, Joshua Merrell, Nathanial Merrell
