Tennessee Man Dies In Two-Vehicle Accident near Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Huntsville that has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:40 am, Monday, January 29, has claimed the life of an Elora, Tennessee man.

Roger D. McNeal, 70, was fatally injured when the 1997 Acura 25T that he was driving was struck by a 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer driven by Kenneth R. Hale Jr., 35, of Huntsville. After the initial impact, the Mitsubishi left the roadway and struck a ditch. McNeal was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred U.S. 231 near Hunter Road, approximately 10 miles north of Huntsville, in Madison County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
