Teen Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash Near Parrish

HAMILTON-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a traffic accident that took the life of a teen near Parrish on Tuesday, May 23:

“A single-vehicle crash at 2:28 p.m. today, May 23, has claimed the life of a local teen. The 15-year-old was killed when the 2006 Chevrolet Impala in which she was a passenger left the roadway, struck a utility pole, and then a tree.

The vehicle’s 17-year-old driver was transported to Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.

The crash occurred on Alabama 269 near the 33 mile marker, one mile south of Parrish.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
