Teddy James Colwell, aged 63 of Athens, born on July 27, 1962, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at his residence. Teddy is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lola Colwell, Brother, Memory Matthew Colwell, Daughter Jewel Colwell.
He is survived by his son, Caleb Colwell and grandson Case Williams Anderson. Siblings- Randy Colwell (Yvonne), Ray Colwell (Tonya), Jennifer Sellers (Rod), Gail Allen (Mickey), Ella Melvin (Russell), Jimbo Colwell (Regina), Sonya Cottingham, Joey Colwell (Caroline)

The funeral service to honor Teddy Colwell will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Limestone Chapel. Visitation at 11 and service at 1pm.
Teddy lived a life with simple pleasures. He loved to fish, go to Gatlinburg and work on anything that he could take a part. Mainly car engines. Being self-employed he had a vast amount of customers that would use no one else. He was very intellectually when it came to his mechanic work. He will be missed greatly by everyone.
