Teddy Doyal “Ted” Jetton, age 69 of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1956 to Therman and Marie Jetton. Ted was a loving husband, Daddy, and Paw Paw. He was a friend to many. Ted was multi talented and worked hard to support his family. He worked for Shelby Contracting and Wiregrass Construction for 47 years, until he retired in 2024. Ted was known for his funny personality and his great story telling. His all time favorite pastime was fishing and hunting. Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Moulton Heritage Funeral Home, where the services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Smyrna Cemetery in Moulton. Brother Mike Jackson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shay Osborn, Shawnrie Osborn, Shannon Osborn, Shadow Osborn, Phillip Jetton, and Coty Hutto. Ted is survived by his wife of 44 years, Wynell Osborn Jetton; sons, Devin Jetton and Dakota (Elizabeth) Jetton; grandsons, Axel and Memphis Jetton; granddaughter, Mylee Jetton; sisters, Shirley Vinson and Wanda Jetton; brothers, Tommy (Betty) Jetton and Max Jetton; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Therman and Marie Jetton; and sister, Josephine Jo Jetton.
