Ted Macon Hester, 68, of Tuscumbia, died Friday, October 9, 2015. His visitation will be Monday, October 12th from 10 am until 12 pm at Morrison Funeral Home Cherokee. His funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 12 pm with Wendell Riner and David Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Mr. Hester was a member of Red Rock Church of Christ. He retired from Wise Metals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ellen Hester; and his brother James Earl Hester.
He is survived by his wife, Joanie Hester; step son, Brad Franks; sister, Mary Lou Riner; and grandchildren, Destanee and Dalton.
Pallbearers will be Brad Franks, Junior Riner, Wendell Riner, Mitch Hester, Kenny Hester, Larry Pounders, and Danny Foster.
