TUSCUMBIA-“The History of Tea and Tea Culture” will be the subject of a talk and tea tasting presented by Jennifer Stowe at Belle Mont Mansion, 1569 Cook Lane, Tuscumbia, AL, on Saturday, February 19 at 2:30 p.m. The event will include tea refreshments and an optional tour of the historic home, which was built circa 1828.
Jennifer Stowe is founder of Mid-TN Tea Association. She is a nationally recognized professional speaker whose topics include all aspects of tea and tea etiquette, herbs and health. She is the author of four tea-related books and is currently writing a tearoom cookbook. She hosts a monthly podcast; Tea and Toast TN with her daughter, Julia. She is a contributing writer to Tea Lifestyle and Backwood Home magazines. Along with her three daughters, Jennifer owns and operates Three Sisters Tearoom in Campbellsville, TN. She a registered nurse.
Tickets, available in advance, are $15. Reservations are required. You may purchase through Event Brite or by credit card by calling Belle Mont at 256-381-5052. A limited number of tickets will be available at Fiddledee D! gift shop in downtown Tuscumbia. Proceeds benefit operations and preservation of the museum.
Masking is encouraged during the talk and seating , which is limited, will be socially distanced.
