Tara LaNell Scheirer age 38 of Scottsboro, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 in a car accident. Her memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m in the chapel at Scottsboro Funeral Home.
Tara Scheirer was born January 19, 1984 in Huntsville, the daughter of Dixie Mitchell of Scottsboro and the late Hayden Cooper. She was employed at Belk, and part-time at Tri-County Homes.
Her survivors include her mother, Dixie Mitchell; her recent husband, Troy Yarbrough; two sons, Mykhail Scheirer and Carlos Torres; four daughters, Sahara Scheirer, Raina Scheirer, Erika Torres, and Elizabeth Torres; three sisters, Tammy Scheirer, Melinda (Michael) Harris, Patricia (Chad) Campbell; four brothers, Raymond (Linda) Gill, Richard (Heather) Mitchell, Steve Cooper, and Douglas Mitchell; 14 nieces and nephews; and 5 great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Hayden Cooper; and the father who raised her, Harvey Mitchell.
