Tara Jade Gardner, age 38 of Lynchburg, TN passed away August 31, 2021. She was born October 31, 1982, in Winchester to Carla Gardner Ladd and Luther Gardner. Tara graduated from Tullahoma High School and attended college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While in college she was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She was an avid Auburn Football and Boston Red Sox Fan. Tara was a proud supporter of the United States Military. She enjoyed making jewelry and crafting in her spare time. Tara loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, niece, and aunt. Tara was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ruby & Russell Keller and Essie & Claude Prince; paternal grandparents, Luther Gardner and Dorothy Guerrero; cousins, Isaiah Gardner and Raylan Davis.She is survived by her mother, Carla Gardner Ladd; father, Luther Gardner; sister, Brittany (Johnathan) Cunningham; beloved dog, Tori; brothers, Tanner Gardner and Ryan (Jessica) Gardner; nieces and nephews, Annistyn Cunningham, Ramsey Cunningham, Brooklyn and Cooper Gardner; maternal grandparents, Carlos and Faye Prince; cousins, Derek (Carrie Arnold) Prince; Brandon Thurman, Cooper and Toryn Thurman, Bree Thurman, and Nikki Gardner; aunts and uncles, Mark and Pamela Thurman, Phillip and Emma Prince, Patsy Gardner, Glen and Ava Moore, Timmy and Son Hui Gardner, Greg and Joyce Gardner, Billy and Deana Davis, Merle and Kim Donelson. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3:30 pm Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Grey officiating.
