Tammy Parrish Slaughter, age 58 of Jasper, Alabama, passed away Tuesday August 05, 2025 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born May 16, 1967 to Willard Wayne and Johnnie Parrish. Tammy was devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Double Springs Memorial Cemetery in Double Springs. Tammy is survived by her daughter, Mia’lea Slaughter; sons, Tyler (Ricsan) Souders and Zachary Souders; mother, Johnnie Parrish; sister, Rhonda (Roger) Burton; brother, Joey (Linda) Parrish; six grandchildren; husband, David Slaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Willard Wayne Parrish Sr.; brother, Willard Wayne Parrish Jr.; nephew, Joey “Joebob” Parrish.
