It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Tammy Lynn Wells. Tammy was the daughter of Jack and Betty Wells. She graduated from Wichita Southeast High School and later from Wichita State University in Wichita, KS. For many years, Tammy worked as a computer programmer. Tammy loved animals, especially cats.
Tammy is survived by her sister, Vicki S. Freeman, Ph.D., husband Steven; nieces, Dawn Bone and Wendy Marsh, nephews, Anthony Wells and Ethan Wells, and several cousins and grandnieces.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jack Wells and Betty Ragland, and her brother, Michael Wells.
To honor Tammy’s memory, a service will be held at First Baptist Church, Pontotoc, MS on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 11AM with Dr. Ken Hester officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local Humane Society.
