Tammy Lee McVey passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in Ashland, AL. She was a lifelong resident of Clay County, where she attended Mellow Valley School. Tammy loved the outdoors, especially the creek and collecting rocks and flowers.
She is survived by her father, Ricky McVey of Lineville, two sisters, Sonia McVey Edmondson (Bill) of Georgetown, GA, Ashley McVey of Lineville, two brothers, Dewayne McVey of Lineville and Michael Jones of Georgetown, GA, and a large extended family.
Tammy was preceded in death by her Mother, Barbara; her sister Carla Jo Ann; her grandparents, Bill & Faye McVey, and many other family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and she will be buried next to her mother at Shiloh Baptist Church.
