Tammy Christine Benstine, age 58, of Haleyville
Tammy Benstine went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 19, 2024. She fought a long two year health battle with a strong will and such unbelievable courage. She leaned on the Lord for her strength, always had a smile on her face and friendly nature throughout her entire battle. She was an encouragement to all who knew her. She will be very much missed by her family and friends. She is in Heaven today pain free and is with all her family that has gone on before her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis Whitfield & Virginia (Smith) Whitfield Horsley; sister, Veronica Whitfield; and brothers, Randy Whitfield and Jimmy Whitfield.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 18 years, Kenneth Benstine; daughter, Jasmine Benstine; siblings, Calvin Whitfield (Penny), Pam Moreno (Dan), Scottie Whitfield, Johnny Whitfield; in-laws, Earl Benstine (Tammy), Angela Mitchell (Joseph Smith); and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating the service. The burial will be at Mars Hill Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Joseph Smith, Jared Howard, Earl Benstine, Dillan Mitchell, Josh Riley, JJ Riley, and Timothy Howard.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
