TeTac Van Le, 67, of Florence, Ala., passed away on Wednesday, March 27, of heart failure.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Private visitation for family and relatives will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 5, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home.
Tac was born in Vietnam on April 1, 1945. He was married to Tham Bui on Nov. 23, 1967; they were married 45 years.
Tac was a jack of all trades, but a master of carpentry. His passion for wood working was evident in the craftsmanship and artistry that characterized everything he built with his hands.
Tac is survived by his wife and five of his six children, Thieng (Peter), Huyen, Hung (Hero), Mary, and Hanh (Tomi). He was blessed with two granddaughters and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his first-born son who died at the age of 2.
