Funeral services for Sylvia Teeter, 75, of Corinth are set for Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH on HWY 45 South with interment in Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – SOUTH. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Honey, Mike Kemp, H. L. Richie, Jim Bumpas, Brent Mills, Jason Johnson, Mike Glisson and Buddy Ayers. Born May 2, 1948 in Booneville, MS, Sylvia passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church and a retired office manager. She worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis and then for Dr. David Chase starting in 1983. Sylvia was a 1966 graduate of Booneville High School. She loved to travel, go out dining with her friends and she always loved spending time with her family and friends. Sylvia is survived by her son, Patrick Green (Toni); stepson, Jeff Teeter (Joellen); Godson, Joseph Hankins (Melissa); 11 grandchildren, Jordan Green, Ethan Green, Lauren Nicotera, Chris Nicotera, Alie Nicotera, Heidi Crayton (Chad), Jill Todd (Bradley), Abbey Burd (Jason), Jason Teeter, Jennifer Lawrence (Brian) and Jessica Teeter; 14 great grandchildren; special friends, Linda Hankins, Janis Honey and Harriet Kemp; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Teeter; stepson, Eddie Teeter; stepdaughter, Kimberly Teeter; father, Charlie Maddox; mother, Eloise Mayo Maddox and an aunt, Maxine Miller (Dave).
