Sylvia Mattie Luffman, age 94, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at NHC-Maury Regional Transitional Care Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Salant & Salant and M-Fine, and a member of Meadow View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Villard and Lula Thompson Rosson; five brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by husband, William Comer Luffman of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Jackie Luffman (Elizabeth) and Glenn Luffman both of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Sue Ross of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Crystal Littrell (Skip), Falecia Newton (Jeremy), and Brian Luffman; six great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2020, with Charles Gresham officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
