Funeral for Syble W. Anders, 77, of Hartselle will be Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Ashley and Brother A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anders, who died Monday, June 17, 2013, at her residence, was born July 01, 1935, in Morgan County to Harlon Ward and Eva Wright Ward. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church where she sung in the choir, and was an AWANA teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Carl Ward; and one daughter, Tina A Long.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby D. Anders; four brothers, Joel Ward (Danny) of Hartselle, John Ward (Brenda) of Georgia, David Ward (Kim) and Tony Ward (Tricia), both of Hartselle; one sister, Mary South (Doug) of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Grantland, Don Crow, Hal Chaney, Bill Dobbs, Frank Campbell and Jeff Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
