Syble Chamblee – Obituary

Syble Chamblee, 87, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at The Meadows. She was born January 26, 1929 to Johnny Melvin and Beulah Estelle Moore Roberts. She was member of the Gum Church of Christ. She was a home-maker and a factory worker. She enjoyed reading, writing stories, and doing crafts.

Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Minister Brady Ramey officiating. Burial will be in the Gum cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Dwayne Chamblee (Jennifer) of Guntown; two daughters, Brenda Crouch (Jerry) of Tremont, and Cynthia Smith (Rick) of Fulton; one brother, John Roberts of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one sister-n-law, Elsie Roberts of Illinois; five grandchildren, Dana Keating, Richie Keating, Tony Crouch, Leigh Smith, and Kevin Chamblee; one great grandchild, Baily Clayton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Chamblee, who she married October 12, 1944; one grandson, Gary Kevin Crouch,; three brothers, Marshall Roberts, Bill Roberts, Joe Roberts; four sisters, Pauline Hoyle, Hortense Gann, Voncelle Dubois, and Opal Humphress; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Chamblee, Richie Keating, Tony Crouch, Russ Ramey, Tommy Chamblee, John Chamblee, and Wayne Wright.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 Monday night at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
