Suzette Sessoms, age 59, resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born in Maury County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charles Allen Campbell and the late Amanda Lucinda Greene.
Suzette was a devoted mother, sister, and cherished member of the community. She spent much of her early life in Washington State before returning to her Tennessee roots. A graduate of high school, she dedicated 15 years of her career serving in roles for the military. A member of the Senior Citizens Club in Mt. Pleasant, Suzette found joy in simple pleasures. She was a talented cook who delighted in preparing meals for family and friends. Though she always dreamed of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), her true calling was in nurturing those closest to her. Suzette’s quiet demeanor and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed.
Suzette is survived by her son, Jarrel Sessoms; siblings, James Luther Greene, Suzann Crenshaw (twin sister), Jacqueline Greene, Greg Hardison, Monica Hardison, Rosalind Goodrum, Sherry Daniels, and Warren Campbell; and best friend, Darlene (Tracy) Knox.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Hooks, Lena Greene, Barbara Lee and Willie Greene, and many aunts and uncles.
