Suspects Involved in YMCA Car Burglary and Use of Stolen Credit Card in Custody

unnamedMADISON-Two suspects have been arrested in the theft of credit cards from vehicles on December 16.  Here is the statement from the Madison Police Department:

“On December 16th, the Madison Police Department posted pictures to its Facebook page of two individuals buying a laptop computer at a local retailer. The department received numerous calls of people who recognized the individuals. We would like to thank those that took the time to call and give information. Through the information posted on Facebook, detectives were able to identify the offenders.

Jock Baugh, 26 years old, of Albertville and Mariel Lopez, 27 years old of Albertville, are both in Custody in the Marshall County Jail on unrelated charges.
Madison Police have obtained warrants for both of them for the following charges:

Jock Baugh:
Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle
Theft of Property 2nd
Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, two counts.

Mariel Lopez:
Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle
Theft of Property 2nd
Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, two counts.

The two will be transferred to the Madison County Jail once charges in Marshall County are complete.”
