HARTSELLE-Just in from Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin on a drug bust made in Hartselle on Wednesday. Here is what she had to say on the arrests:
“On Wednesday, March 19th, 2014, Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents, along with Hartselle Police, returned to 417 Pearl St. in Hartselle, after receiving complaints that Jason Wayne Weeks, 34, was possibly selling methamphetamine, again. Agents raided the home on February 26th, 2014 and arrested Weeks and several others after meth was found in the home. This time, Agents learned that Tamra Dunn,
30, who had several outstanding drug warrants was there.
Agents made contact with Mrs. Dunn, along with Mr. Weeks in the rear bedroom of the residence. Agents discovered several grams of methamphetamine, along with syringes used for shooting up meth. Agents arrested both subjects for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Judge Shelly Waters set Mr. Weeks’ bond at $200,000.00. Mr. Weeks will most likely have his previous bond revoked after receiving a new charge. Mrs. Dunn’s bond was set at $100,000.00.
If you have information about someone making meth or any drug activity please call 256-351-4816 or 256-773-6534.”
