Christopher Oneal Malone
ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released a statement about a suspect being arrested for Possession Of A Forged Instrument:
“Sunday morning Christopher Oneal Malone was arrested on a warrant for possession of forged instruments 1st degree.
On August 05, 2015 officers were called to HWY 72 and Jefferson Street about a man passed out in a vehicle on US 72. When officers arrived they were unable to wake Malone up. Malone’s car was in drive and his foot was on the brake. Officers and firemen broke Malone’s window due to the situation. Malone was breathing but unresponsive and was transported to the Emergency Room for treatment.
In Malone’s possession at the time was 26 twenty dollar bills that were counterfeit. A warrant for Malone’s arrest was obtained in October of 2015. Malone was booked at the police department and transferred to the county jail.”
