Suspect Arrested In Valentine’s Day Murder

FLORENCE-On Valentine’s Day of this year the Florence Police were called to a residence in response to a medical assistance call which in turn was quickly turned into a homicide:

“On March 5, 2021, Roydricker Lamar Bullock (01/26/1985) was arrested for the murder of Patrice Denice Lott. The United States Marshals Gulf Coast Regional

Task Force assisted in locating and arresting Bullock at his residence in Greene County Alabama. He will be transferred to the Lauderdale County Detention

Center where he will be held on a $150,000 bond.” 

Original story below that was released on February 15, 2021:

On February 14, 2021, Florence Police Department patrol officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of North Royal Avenue in Florence regarding a call for medical assistance. Upon arrival, patrol officers with the police department located an African American female deceased inside of the residence. The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Patrice Denice Lott.  We have learned that Lott’s family members last spoke to her on Friday, February 12, 2021.  Lott’s body was discovered when family members came to check on her at the residence.  The Florence Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is currently on scene. This case is currently begin investigated as a Homicide.  We do not have a suspect at this time and are seeking the help of the community for any information in regards to the death of Miss Lott.
