FLORENCE-On November 4, 2023, officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of Holt
Avenue in Florence.
Officers located a residence close by on Norwood Boulevard that had been hit with multiple bullets. Officers then checked for injuries and they were told an adult female and two young children were inside the residence at the time of the shooting and they were not injured.
Officers observed multiple bullet holes inside the residence close to where the occupants
Azarian Brown
were located. After further investigation a suspect was developed and Azarian Brown was arrested yesterday, December 5, 2023.
Brown was arrested and charged with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling.
Azarian Amir Brown, 20 years of age from Florence, is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
Azarian Amir Brown is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
