Susie Mae Barnett Markham, 91, gained her wings on Monday September, 7th, 2026, at 8:30 pm with her family at her side. She was born June, 30th, 1935.
Susie is preceded in death by her husband Carter and two grandsons.
She is survived by her daughter Betty (Tim); sons Terry (Becky), Danny (Debbie), and Ronnie (Kristy). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Susie is survived by a very special friend and partner of nine years (Frank Putnam).
The family would like to recognize and give a special thanks to the Aveanna Hospice caregivers ( Latoya, Jennifer and Pam).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Winchester Road Baptist Church.
