Funeral services for Susan “Susie” Pearcey Webb, age 59, are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, November 15 at the First United Methodist Church of Lexington with Dr. Hoyt Wilson, Rev. Larry Daniel and Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Susie as she was lovingly known by her Caywood Elementary Students for over twenty-one years, died peacefully at her home on Thursday morning. For many years she was a 2nd grade teacher and most recent an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and served on the ESL Board. Obviously, her love flowed into her faith, teaching and parenting.
Survivors include her husband of forty-one years, John R. Webb of Lexington, her daughters: Amanda (Russ) Ramer of Lexington and Kara (Paul) Smith of Nashville, sisters: Jamella Hayes and Becky Minor of Lexington and Vicki Deaton of Jackson, her grandchildren: Benjamin Ramer, Suzanne and Amelia Smith; and her mother, Mary Pearcey of Lexington
