Her Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5 until 8 at the funeral home. Bro. Glendale Davis will be officiating and eulogy by Derrick Traylor and Denise Roden. Pallbearers will be Phillip Lemaster, Butch Wills, Keith Bryant, Gary Waldrep, Lynn Bain, Jeff Davis. Honorary Pallbearers are Ty and Jon Cole, Randall Cook, Terry Paulson, Victor Long.
She grew up loving to play the piano. J.Q. and her played and sang for twenty-two funerals and ten weddings, and sang at many revivals and churches. She loved to travel and traveled most of the U.S., Hawaii, Canada, and Mexico, and loved cruise’s, flea markets, dent can stores and thrift stores. Most of all loved church and loved and supported the church. She missed J.Q. so much and some days it was just Jesus and her in the house. J.Q.’s spirit is still around for he turns on the radio a lot and I hear music and the radio is not on. I love my kids and being their Mother.
Susan is survived by her Son; Derrick Traylor (Partner; Terry Paulson), Daughters; Denise Roden (Husband; Victor Long), Shala Traylor, She is preceded in death by her Husband; J.Q. Traylor, Parents; L.C. and Helen Dick, Brother; Charles Dick, Sister; Helen Diamond.
