James Donald “Don” Edwards, 80 of Bear Creek, passed away December 23, 2018. He was born March 20, 1938 to Elmer Charles and Annie Ruth Edwards. Don was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 at from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 1:00 p.m. . Burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery. Bro. Ricky Mann will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Heatherly-Edwards; sons, James (Wendy) Edwards, Jerry (Melinda) Edwards, Jeff (Brenda) Edwards, Mike (Debbi) Edwards, and Kenneth (Larisa) Edwards; Daughter, Janice (Ronnie) Freeman; 23 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Doris Beard; and Brother, John Dale Edwards.
