Susan Davis WingardSusan Davis Wingard, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. She was born to Edgar Davis and Mary Estella King Davis in Cottonville, Marshall County, Alabama. She had four brothers, George Washington Davis, Edgar Davis, Lewis Marvin Smith, and William Edward Davis, and three sisters, Odell Gladys Davis Baker, Edna Davis Fuell, and Emma Lee Tipton Stotts. She was predeceased by her husbands, George W. Kurtz and Charles T. Wingard. Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Jean Kurtz (Yolanda), and Sherry Ann Kurtz (Ricky).

Mrs. Wingard was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She was a homemaker and a volunteer at Huntsville Hospital.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. No services are planned.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Stroke Association or Pathfinder, a non-profit, residential rehabilitation program in Huntsville for men.
