Susan Carol Redmon of Huntsville passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. Born in Warner Robins, Georgia, Susan moved to Huntsville with her family at a young age. She graduated from Grissom High School in 1979 and was an accomplished artist. She loved to volunteer and was a noted art philanthropist. She donated her artwork to Huntsville Botanical Gardens, Hudson Alpha, Huntsville Land Trust, and little Orange Fish, just to name a few. A breast cancer survivor, she was a longtime donor and supporter of the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund.
Survivors include her sons, Andrew Scott Isbell and Matthew Aaron Isbell (Heather Calhoun Isbell); parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Redmon, Sr.; brother, John Redmon, Jr.; sister, Patricia Redmon Jenerick (David); nephew and niece, Wesley Patterson and Rosalyn Patterson; and her loving Smooth Fox Terriers, Kevin!! and Betty Rubble.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon with Pastor Belinda Rives officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Garden.
