Susan Arnold Lake “Nana”, 74, of Soddy-Daisy passed away July 4, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Susan was born in Muscle Shoals AL on October 7, 1948 to Robert and Jean Arnold. She attended Muscle Shoals High School. After graduation, she moved to the Chattanooga area when she met and married her lifelong sweetheart of 54 years. She was the owner of Video Connextion in Hixson, as well as a loan officer with Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant and the Hixson branch. She worked for TVFCU up until her retirement in 2013. Known by most as Nana, she was a caregiver in every sense of the word. She was also a loving mother, devoted wife, precious sister, Nana, friend to all who knew her, and everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed reading, traveling and scuba diving in some of the most beautiful places in the world. She was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jean Arnold.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bennett Lake; son, Bryan Lake; daughter, Gina Barrow (Ron); sister, Sonya Arnold; brothers, Bob Arnold and Bill Arnold (Sylvia); grandchildren, Josh Lake (Stephanie), Cameron Lake, Kinsey Lake, Savannah Barrow, and Lainey Barrow; great-granddaughter, Collins Lake.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 8th 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at Williamson and Sons Funeral home in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee.
