Susan Ada Stinnett Blackwell, age 63, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at Alive Hospice Nashville.

Susan was born January 1, 1963, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Jackson and Myrtle Hazlett Stinnett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Kerry Stinnett and two sisters, Rita King and Ova Morton.

She is survived by her two daughters, Angie (Chad) Williams of Winchester and Shannon Newcomb of Nashville; one son Christopher (Jessica) Blackwell of Lewisburg; six grandchildren, Logan Wallace, Hunter Williams, Zoey Blackwell, Carly Blackwell, Kasen Blackwell and Taylor Blackwell; three sisters, Wanda McCormick, Diane Dyer, and Celena (Todd) Westmoreland; one brother Kenny (Christy) Stinnett; 17 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; 7 great-great

nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her former husband, Tommy Blackwell, the father of their children, with whom she continued to share a lasting bond of love and care.

Susan found great joy in cooking for those she loved, and nothing meant more to her than the time she shared with her children and grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Cochran Cemetery with Kevin McGehee officiating with burial to follow.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy King, Robert McCormick, Jeremy Baus, Tanner Westmoreland, Logan Wallace, and Todd Westmoreland

London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
